About Study Success and the Author

The developer and administrator of the Study Success Website is Richard Ogden - a professional occupational psychologist and member of the British Psychological Society.

Richard first researched memory development systems and learning techniques whilst studying for his first degree in Human Psychology at Aston University, UK. Researching and experimenting with methods that were later to be developed into Exam Genie. He later completed a Masters degree in Organisational Psychology at Bristol University.

Richard now works in business consultancy, supporting organisations and individuals to apply psychological technologies to achieve the highest levels of success. Richard has a keen interest in understanding the processes of learning – whether at work or in education. ‘Learning to learn’ is maybe the most important skill in today’s changing information-based world.

The mission of the Study Success website is to grow and develop in order to become a crucial resource for learners to achieve their goals. The website is not Richard's day job however, so it can be hard to find time to update. Particularly given he is now the proud father of twins ...
